As reported by multiple news sources, when House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) spoke with President Trump after the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, in answer to Trump’s claim that the insurrectionists were antifa in disguise, he snapped and told the president in no uncertain terms, “It’s not antifa — it’s MAGA. I know. I was there!”
